NEW Program: Veterinary Assistant Certificate

The veterinary health care field is growing rapidly with faster than average projected employment growth of 20% from 2008-2018. It is estimated that there is a need for 21,000 additional veterinary employees in the US by 2016.

As a student in KCE’s Veterinary Assistant courses, you will learn key terminology used in the veterinary profession, how to treat animal diseases and health issues, emergency care, physical exams, surgery and office procedures. Courses also include animal physiology, pharmacology, animal behavior and sanitation procedures.
